  12. This folder contains updated versions of the two SoundEdit 16 Shockwave Audio Xtras, SWA Export Xtra and SWA Settings (SE16) Xtra. These new versions create Shockwave Audio (SWA) files which are compatable with Macromedia's Shockwave version 6.

  14. If you have older versions of these Xtras in your SoundEdit 16/Xtras folder, trash them or move them to another location. Put the new versions into the SoundEdit 16/Xtras folder.

If you see two "Shockwave for Audio Settings" items in SoundEdit 16's Xtras menu, or two "SWA File" listings in the Export file type selector, you may have two separate sets of SWA Xtras. Look in the System Folder/Macromedia/Xtras folder. If you see SWA Export Xtra and SWA Settings (SE16) Xtra in that location as well as in the Xtras folder in the SoundEdit 16 folder, remove them from the System Folder/Macromedia/Xtras folder.
